Our Vision for the Primary School

This will be a medium sized school with an ultimate student population of about 400 students. The student population will continue to have the cultural diversity that is a feature of our school. The teaching and learning program will have a strong focus on academic performance in literacy and numeracy, balanced by high quality visual and performing arts and physical education programs. The classroom curriculum will be supported by high expectations of students in their conduct within and beyond the school, these expectations will emphasise manners, kindness towards others and care of the environment.

The Curriculum

The curriculum will have an Australian emphasis, but will not be exclusively Australian, there will be internationally inspired elements that draw from curricula in other high performing Western education systems. The teaching methodology will be student centred and will involve a mixture of direct teaching and inquiry based learning.

The fee structure will be affordable, but sufficient to allow the school to provide high quality teaching resources, including well equipped, modern learning environments.

The classrooms will be spacious, with high quality, ergonomically designed chairs imported from New Zealand, electronic teaching technology, a well equipped library and a comfortable dining room.

Specialist rooms include:
