Selection Criteria

We look for well-rounded professional teachers who are independent, resilient, adventurous, have a strong team based approach, adapt well to new situations and who place a high priority on the school and their teaching assignment.

You do not need to have extensive international experience to apply for a position at AISB.

Pre-requisites:

Applicants must:

1 Be fully qualified as a teacher, with a Degree in Education or post graduate qualification in Education. [TESOL certification is not sufficient]

2 Be a Native-English speaker

3 Be Eligible for registration or licensing as a teacher in your home country

Desirable:

1 Qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Primary school education

2 Experience in either of the above

3 Ability to teach a specialised subject as well as the general curriculum
